  • Give the urine sample before starting any antibiotics, in the sterile container we provide.
  • If possible, give the sample before starting any antimalarial medicine.

Home collection

Home blood sample collection across New Town, Rajarhat, Chinar Park and Salt Lake, with slots from 7:30 AM. Free home collection near the clinic; for longer distances only the bike-taxi fare is added, told to you before booking. You can also give the sample at the clinic, Plaza Avenida, Action Area 2, New Town (Open every day, 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM).

Report time

Most results within 24 hours; the urine culture takes 48 to 72 hours because bacteria must be grown first. You receive the culture report when it is complete.

13 tests: CBC with ESR, Malaria smear, Malaria antigen, Bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT, KFT, CRP, Typhidot IgM, Widal, Chikungunya IgM, Urine routine, Urine culture, reporting 90 parameters in all. The price is ₹1,600.

Does the comprehensive fever profile include dengue?

No. Although some older descriptions of this package mention dengue NS1, the current test list does not include it. If dengue is suspected, add the NS1 antigen test (first five days of fever) or IgM antibody test.

How should I collect the urine sample?

Give a midstream sample in the sterile container we provide, ideally first thing in the morning and before starting antibiotics, as antibiotics can stop bacteria growing in the culture.
